Ballistic Mesh Upper

The Thermo Rogue 4 Mid GORE-TEX Walking Boots from Merrell are constructed using a ballistic mesh and TPU upper. The mesh and TPU work together to enhance ventilation and stability. The ballistic mesh allows air to fully permeate the upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. TPU aids durability and enhances structural integrity, protecting you on uneven terrain. A GORE-TEX waterproof membrane helps to block out water whilst being superbly breathable, allowing the wearer to stay dry, cool and comfortable as they perform in harsh weather conditions. A moulded TPU heel counter locks down the foot and contributes to lateral stability while high ankle support reduces the risk of injury. Whilst still feeling like a trail running shoe, this lightweight Thermo Rogue 4 offers full ankle support thanks to the lacing system locking the boot in place. A Cleansport NXT treatment resides in the upper to prevent odour-causing bacteria from growing to keep the boots fresher for longer, while the bootie construction stops loose stones and debris from entering. Primaloft Gold Eco Series synthetic insulation is located in the upper layer to provide exceptional warming properties, keeping you warm even when the temperature drops below freezing. Solarcore insulation, inspired by NASA spacesuits, works with Aerogel to provide over-toe and underfoot superior warmth, whilst being extremely flexible and ultra-thin. Completing the upper are metal hooks and lacing eyelets that provide a secure fit.

FloatPro Foam Midsole

To provide feet with necessary support and security, the Thermo Rogue 4 Mid GTX features a FloatPro Foam midsole to allow you to conquer wet or difficult terrain. The lightweight midsole cushions the foot to keep you feeling comfortable throughout wear, and the S-Curved Rock Plate offers advanced protection and support on various terrains from start to finish. This technology protects the underfoot from sharp rocks or objects on the trail.

Vibram Arctic Grip All Terrain Outsole

Completing the Merrell Thermo Rogue 4 Mid GORE-TEX Walking Boot is a Vibram Arctic Grip All Terrain outsole. The high-performance rubber compound is one of the grippiest on the market. It offers unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain easily, whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity, providing unprecedented grip hike after hike, and trail after trail. Traction is no problem, even with a 15-kilo backpack on your back, thanks to this Vibram Megagrip outsole offering ultimate traction even if conditions get a bit tricky and the terrain gets wet or slippery. Multi-directional lugs further enhance grip and traction.
