Merrell Moab 3 Synthetic GORE-TEX Men's Walking Shoes

For over 15 years, the Moab has been the choice of hikers when a decision needs to be made, making it the world's bestselling hiking shoe. Known for its comfort, durability and versatility, their predecessors have helped 20 million people step further outdoors. Version 3 features a new, more supportive insole, a softer, more cushioned midsole, a grippier Vibram outsole, and is the most environmentally friendly Moab ever, utilising recycled materials in its construction and a synthetic leather upper.

GORE-TEX Upper

Utilising a synthetic and a mesh upper, the MOAB 3 GORE-TEX has a comfortable, breathable upper to keep feet cool and dry thanks to the GORE-TEX lining integrated into the shoes. The synthetic leather reinforcements provide enhanced protection against knocks and bumps, dirt and debris, for long-lasting properties. 100% recycled breathable mesh inserts allow feet to breathe by replacing warm, used air with cool, fresh air, keeping feet at an optimum level of comfort. The GORE-TEX lining ensures that water, rain and damp conditions are kept outside, keeping feet dry and cosy no matter the conditions. Protective heel and toe caps enhance protection for your feet, ensuring knocks and bumps won't cause injury. Alongside this, a bellowed tongue prevents dirt and debris from entering your shoes, and the 100% recycled laces and webbing keep feet locked in and secure, ensuring in-shoe slippage is prevented.

Removable Kinetic Fit Advanced Footbed

To provide feet with a high level of comfort and breathability, a mesh lining resides through the midsole of these shoes to keep feet feeling fresh from start to finish. The walking shoes have a contoured, removable Kinetic Fit Advanced insole that provides enhanced heel and arch structure, with the intuitive shape and recycled EVA offering exceptional stability and comfort. Combined with the integrated Merrell air cushions in the heels, the shoes reduce fatigue and provide medium support, keeping you going further for longer during demanding activities. The moulded nylon arch shank provides a supportive structure between the insole and outsole, diminishing the load incurred on your feet and calves throughout your adventure. The moulded nylon arch shank further helps to reduce fatigue. Finally, a Super Rebound Compound provides feet with durable shock absorption in the heel to help reduce torque and allows for a smooth transition into the midfoot.

Vibram TC5+ Outsole

Designed with a technical compound and exceptional overall performance, perfect for outdoor activities, the Moab 3 outsole has a Vibram TC5+ outsole. The outsole is designed to offer traction and support in all conditions. This construction allows the shoes to have some flexibility for more comfortable stepping. The advanced rubber compound provides traction on wet and dry surfaces or in extreme temperatures, ensuring a confident footing wherever you explore. Finished with a 5mm lug pattern, the outsole helps you move through dirt and trail with unparalleled traction and grip.
