Stay grounded and energised with the Trail Glove 8, Merrell's minimalist trail shoe built for natural movement.
For ventilated comfort the Trail Glove 8 utilises a mesh upper. It is highly breathable with a 100% recycled breathable mesh lining to further increase comfort. The padded collar is soft against the skin and the burrito tongue wraps the foot to enhance a natural fit. An external rear sling locks in the heel and the protective and abrasion resistant toe cap keeps you shielded from knocks and scrapes. The uppers have been Cleansport NXT treated for natural odour control, helping you stay feeling and smelling fresh. Finally, a traditional lacing system with 100% recycled laces helps you find the perfect fit.
Whilst a minimalist shoe, the Trail Glove 8 still benefits from a FloatPro Foam midsole. It provides exceptional energy return and enduring comfort, protecting your joints as you strike down and converting that energy into rebound for an added spring in your step. The Merrell Barefoot 2 construction is designed to keep the foot in a natural position, assisting you with the gait cycle and increasing proprioception. Atop this, a 30% recycled integrated EVA foam insole with a 100% recycled mesh footbed cover provides step in comfort and keeps things cool.
Underfoot, a Vibram TC5+ outsole has been utilised for grip and traction. The compound is exclusively formulated for Merrell and offers exceptional purchase for outdoor multi-sport activities. It is also robust, resisting damage, and FlexConnect technology allows for better ground connection, ensuring increased sensory feedback for a more confident run.
