Mizuno Wave Tornado X2 Indoor Court Shoes

The Mizuno Wave Tornado X2 Indoor Court Shoes feature an anatomically moulded PU insole for supreme comfort and maximum cushioning. Two wave technologies combine for an explosive performance, giving you more power when you jump and smooth impact when you land.

Breathable AirMesh Upper

The upper of the wave tornado x2 is constructed using a breathable air mesh technology. The mesh works hard to ensure air can fully permeate the entire upper ensuring a constant supply of cool, fresh air while simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air that resides in the shoes during high-intensity activity. Additionally, the upper offers Mizuno's unique Dynamotion fit technology uses highly advanced motion capture and biomechanics technology. Mizuno has developed a design blueprint to engineer shoes that work with your foot throughout the gait cycle.

Synthetic overlays wrap around the upper providing structural integrity to the shoe and combine with the traditional lacing system to provide a nice and snug fit. A Kura liner is a unique lining technology is a stretchable synthetic leather that enhances durability, while a removable insock is an anatomically moulded insock for next to foot comfort and cushioning.

Infinity Wave Midsole

The fully mechanical infinity wave allows for an experience which provides maximum cushioning that lasts much longer than foam-based footwear. The Infinity wave is a technology with a more visible and effective construction. Two parallel plates sit together with soft cushioning pillars in-between provide cushioning and improved durability by absorbing and dispersing the impact forces at the heel strike phase of the gait cycle.

Along side the Infinity wave in the midsole is AP+ and Sr Touch. The AP+ provides cushioning and comfort levels that just go on feeling new due to a huge improvement in durability, while the SR-Touch is a fairly new advanced cushioning material that is lighter and absorbs shock superbly. With its fast rebound properties, the midsole keeps the transition through the gait cycle smooth and fast.

XG Rubber Outsole

A high-performance component named the XG Rubber is used on the outsole to enhance traction where the sole needs it the most. A Dynamotion Groove is used which uses specifically designed flex grooves to improve stability and on-court agility, allowing the shoes to flex where the foot naturally flexes. The non-marking rubber used on this outsole makes it the perfect shoe for indoor court activities.
