WaveKnit Upper

Mizuno have constructed the upper using a WaveKnit material to wrap around your foot for incredible, lightweight support as you run. Working alongside the WaveKnit is Mizuno's signature cooling technology, AIRmesh, which keeps your feet cool and dry by actively and efficiently wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture as you strive for the best results and performance. A padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin, preventing friction and irritation such as chafing while the traditional lacing system offers a secure, locked-in feel.

Wave Midsole

Wave technology resides in the midsole to provide exceptional cushioning and comfort, thus improving responsiveness and feel. U4ic is a unique midsole compound that rides and cushions like Mizuno's AP+ midsole but is approximately 30% lighter without any loss of comfort or performance. Also operating in the midsole is SmoothRide, which provides an engineering approach to minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible.
