AIRmesh Upper

Engineered using a breathable AIRmesh upper, the Wave Rider GORE-TEX 3 wraps your feet in breathable comfort. Perforations within the fabric allow air to flow through and circulate, while allowing built-up heat to escape, providing your feet with the perfect microclimate. The shoe also features a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane providing optimal waterproof protection. This membrane keeps feet dry and ensures breathability by preventing external moisture from entering and allowing excess heat and vapour to leave the shoe. This leaves your feet cool, dry and comfortable. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks in the midfoot for a secure fit and feel.

Mizuno ENERZY and ENERZY NXT Midsole

Just like the second iteration, these shoes offer excellent levels of cushioning and high rebound, thanks to a dual midsole. Mizuno's ENERZY foam midsole provides a soft and responsive landing with a strong take-off. This is paired with an ENERZY NXT foam heel wedge to provide an extremely comfortable and bouncy feeling. This combination is light and offers greater cushioning, enabling you to keep pushing for much longer. The shoes also feature Mizuno's Wave technology, increasing stability while adding a spring to your step. It works to absorb the shock of heel striking. Once absorbed, the energy is harnessed and transferred to the forefoot, pushing you and guiding you into the next movement. The Wave technology also provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. A premium in-sock has been included, which increases underfoot cushioning for instant step-in comfort./p>

Wgrip Rubber Outsole

Constructed using a Wgrip outsole, the Wave Rider GORE-TEX 3 offers excellent grip and traction whilst remaining durable. Wgrip provides you with a firm, assured footing and enhanced levels of grip and traction compared to regular rubber, so you can run with confidence and push yourself to the limit, time and time again. The outsole now features a more aggressive tread pattern than the previous model, which digs deep into the ground beneath to increase stability, helping you tackle the great outdoors with ease.
