Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 6 Women's Clay Court Tennis Shoes

Advanced players can count on this speed-boosting shoe to outpace the competition. Combining lightweight fabrics with features to enhance your starting motions, ease of movement and turning, these are a great addition for clay courts.

3D-Solid Upper

Updated from their predecessors, the Wave Exceed Tour 6 utilises a 3D-Solid upper, with an improved level of durability, so you can rely on it more than ever. The upper provides a comfortable and breathable layer to ensure that feet remain cool and dry on the court, utilising strategic perforations which enable air to flow, keeping your feet fresh and cool. The moisture-wicking properties prevent sweat from building up, ensuring dry and comfortable feet during intense sessions. The ultra-soft fabrics sit comfortably against your feet for a chafe- and irritation-free experience, while being extremely durable due to the added coverage of the inner instep, which reduces excessive wear and tear. Additionally, the uppers utilise a Dyna-Eyelet Wrap structure with large cut-outs to provide a snug fit that wraps around the foot, ensuring the shoe fits the foot's natural motion. Working with this is a newly designed tongue that's softer against the foot and conforms to its shape, allowing for stress-free wear. Finally, a traditional lacing system provides you with a locked-in, secure fit and prevents in-shoe slipping from occurring.

Mizuno Enerzy Nxt Midsole

The Wave Exceed Tour 6 features Mizuno's next generation of Enerzy foam - Enerzy Nxt, which helps to enhance in-shoe comfort and provide outstanding underfoot cushioning. Enerzy Nxt is a durable, bio-based technology that offers feet with outstanding levels of softness and responsiveness to keep you energised and ready to tackle your opponents. The midsole reduces the risks of discomfort or possible injuries by absorbing shocks when striking down onto hard court surfaces. Working with this, a Mizuno Enerzy insole features to cushion your landing and support the quick turn and starting movements, necessary for a speed court model. An updated Wave plate offers rigidity that instantly converts your power into speed, further allowing smooth twisting kick-off motions.

X10 Durable Outsole

The Wave Exceed Tour 6 features an X10 outsole, which has been developed with a herringbone pattern to be extremely durable, lightweight and super grippy, to provide stability and traction on clay court surfaces. X10 is made from carbon rubber for longer wear in high-impact areas and provides more traction at the heel strike for an all-court grip. Additionally, the shoes feature D-Flex Grooves, which sit diagonally through the midfoot, allowing you to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and shifting direction.
