Dedicated field hockey players who need stability can count on the Mizuno Wave Panthera 2. It features a bootie-style upper that envelops the entire foot with a soft fit.
Offering excellent support and structure, the Wave Panthera 2 utilise a synthetic upper. The synthetic materials are durable and offer exceptional support during powerful movements, as well as protection from impact and abrasions. Alongside this, the upper features mesh panels to provide you with exceptional levels of breathability to prevent feet from overheating and ensure you remain focused. The materials are moisture-wicking to help prevent an uncomfortable growth of moisture and sweat, even during the more intense games. A full bootie construction offers a perfect fit and increases overall comfort, whilst reducing the risks of chafing or irritation to keep you protected. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free gameplay.
Designed to provide comfort and protection, the midsole had been constructed using Mizuno's signature PoWnCe cushioning. PoWnCe offers excellent comfort and resilience properties; the lightweight construction ensures an abundance of cushioning underfoot that works to keep your feet comfortable through any match. Additionally, Mizuno's signature Wave technology provides flexibility and support. The Wave absorbs shock without compromising comfort, ensuring you stay comfortable. The initial shock is transferred back to guide you onto the next movement and provides dynamic support to stabilise and propel the foot forward. Lastly, a cup insole features to enhance the fit inside the shoe.
Providing excellent traction and grip, the Wave Panthera features an X10 outsole. The X10 outsole provides superb traction on the pitch for quick and explosive movements, whilst also increasing overall durability so you can continue with complete confidence. The outsole allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and provides more traction during heel strike, so you'll always feel in complete control. Specifically designed D-Flex Grooves have been built into the midfoot area to allow you to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and change in direction.
