Mizuno Wave Sky 9 Men's Running Shoes

Completely revitalised, the Wave Sky 9 delivers a premium, maximal cushioning experience suited to all runners seeking a protective daily training shoe.

Smooth Stretch Woven Upper

The Mizuno Wave Sky 9 offers exceptional comfort and breathability from the moment you put them on. These shoes feature a smooth, stretch-woven upper that provides a soft, enveloping fit. This material stretches horizontally for a snug and secure feel, without stretching vertically, which enhances midfoot lockdown and reduces in-shoe movement compared to previous models. Additionally, the weaving technique promotes constant airflow across the entire instep, ensuring enhanced breathability. A traditional lacing system further contributes to a secure, locked-in fit, allowing for distraction-free strides. Completing the upper is a padded heel collar and tongue, which sit close to the foot for increased comfort.

Mizuno Enerzy NXT Midsole

The Mizuno Wave Sky 9 is constructed with Mizuno's ultra-soft and responsive Mizuno Enerzy NXT midsole, providing next-level comfort and performance. The extremely lightweight, nitrogen-infused Enerzy NXT at the top of the midsole offers exceptional energy return, keeping you bouncy and propelling you towards your goals. This compound is also made from eco-friendly resources without compromising performance or comfort. The bottom layer of the midsole uses an EVA-based foam for added cushioning and greater energy return. Both midsole foams are sandwiched together in a wave format, creating the supportive foam wave experience found in previous versions.

X10 Carbon Rubber Outsole

The X-10 carbon rubber outsole of the Wave Sky 9 is designed for exceptional durability in high-impact areas, providing longer wear and enhanced traction at the heel. This construction helps to reduce stress on your knees and joints, ensuring a more comfortable ride and optimising your gait efficiency. The outsole provides maximum grip and traction for a firm and assured footing, so you can run with confidence and push your limits every time.
