Mizuno Wave Inspire 22 Men's Running Shoes

Featuring a fully redesigned midsole utilising nitrogen-infused Mizuno Enerzy NXT for exceptional cushioning and powerful energy return, the Inspire 22 has reimagined the idea of a stability shoe.

Mesh Upper

Constructed with a mesh upper, the Wave Inspire 22 is lightweight and breathable, with a sleek design and natural fit. Perforations through the upper allow fresh, cool air to circulate while simultaneously releasing built-up heat, keeping feet feeling cool even through intense sessions. The materials allow vapour from sweat to escape, keeping your feet feeling dry and fresh. The shoes include a soft, padded tongue that has been carefully designed to provide a comfortable and snug fit while reducing chafing and irritation. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot for reduced in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.

Dual-Layer ENERZY NXT Midsole

The Inspire 22 has received a midsole update, now with a dual-layer foam and Enerzy NXT that has been infused with Nitrogen, enhancing comfort and shock absorption. The top layer of foam is ultra-soft and responsive, providing a light and springy ride, and has been taken to the next level with the addition of Nitrogen. This makes it even lighter than previous Enerzy midsoles, providing even more energy return, keeping you feeling fresher mile after mile as you strive for your best results. This works with the EVA-based Mizuno Enerzy NXT in the bottom midsole for added stability. The midsole also features a Wave Plate, which prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to correct overpronation, guiding the foot forward to enable softer movements. Changing the inside and outside shapes helps stop the foot arch from collapsing and offers high stability. The anatomical plate follows the foot's shape for smooth weight transfer from ground contact to toe-off. This works with the SmoothRide technology to minimise rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transitions, for the smoothest ride possible. Atop the midsole, a Premium Insock provides step-in comfort and is removable should you wish.

X10 Rubber Outsole

The outsole of the Wave Inspire has been made using X10, a durable Carbon rubber which allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and supplements traction at the heel. This helps lessen the impact on the knees and joints, allowing for a more comfortable ride and optimising gait efficiency. The outsole also ensures maximum grip and traction for a firm, assured footing so you can run with confidence and push yourself to the limit, time and time again.
