The upper has been crafted from a featherweight monofilament woven fabric, specifically designed for this shoe, to provide excellent lightweight comfort. The uppers have a flexible construction to allow free, comfortable movement and offer optimum in-shoe security. The soft tongue increases comfort, protecting you from lace pressure, and the traditional lacing system lets you cinch in the fit for locked-in strides that will get you across the finish line worry-free. For an eco-friendly touch, 90% of the upper body lining textile is made from recycled content​.

The midsole has been loaded with cutting-edge technology to ensure lightweight, responsive steps that will provide you with that flying feeling and results to match. The midsole is constructed from double-layered Mizuno Enerzy XP PEBA foam, Mizuno's lightest-ever performance midsole that delivers soft energy return and lightweight comfort. It is also super light, shaving off the grams for speed-centric performance. Sandwiched between these layers is the Smooth Speed Plate, an innovative 3D full-length carbon plate to effectively enhance running efficiency. G3 Outsole

The outsole is made from G3 PU resin and delivers excellent grip and traction to support speed running. It is lightweight, meaning you won't be weighed down despite its grip, and the outsole has been engineered with shapes specific to the rear foot and forefoot to assist with landings, toe-offs and turns.
