Mizuno Sky Prime Men's Running Shoes

The latest in Mizuno innovation, the Sky Prime delivers premium comfort and performance for serious runners seeking balance in their training. The all-new Nitrogen Infused ENERZY NXT+ in the top midsole offers exceptional cushioning and energy return, while the stable, smooth bottom midsole supports each stride with a boost of energy.

Engineered Mesh Upper

The Mizuno Sky Prime offers exceptional comfort and breathability from the moment you put them on. Utilising an engineered mesh, the upper encourages cool, refreshing air to circulate while removing unwanted warm air, helping to regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. The padded heel collar sits close to the ankle for increased comfort, while the stretch knit tongue prevents irritation caused by rubbing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure, locked-in feel.

ENERZY NXT+ and ENERZY NXT Midsole

The midsole of the Sky Prime has been constructed using the newly developed ENERZY NXT+ foam. It is the next generation of Mizuno ENERZY midsole material and is designed to maximise energy return and cushioning for optimum performance. A Nitrogen-infused ENERZY NXT sits as the top layer to deliver a soft and smooth ride. It attenuates shock as you strike down, protecting your joints. This energy on impact is converted into rebound, providing you with an added spring in your step, meaning you can run further, faster, using less energy. Sitting underneath this is a layer of ENERZY NXT foam, which delivers not only premium cushioning but also stability and smoothness during runs. Working with this is a Mizuno Wave Plate, which provides shock-absorbing properties to reduce discomfort. The plate absorbs impact when striking down on tough, less-forgiving surfaces, providing you with underfoot propulsion and a more stable ride. A U4ic X insole board works to smooth out transitions, and completing the midsole is a premium sockliner, which ensures step-in comfort.

X10 Rubber Outsole

The X-10 carbon rubber outsole of the Sky Prime has been crafted for supreme durability in high-wear areas, providing longer grip and enhanced traction at the heel. This design reduces stress on your knees and joints, offering a more comfortable ride and optimising your gait efficiency. Additionally, the outsole delivers maximum grip and traction, giving you a firm and assured footing, so you can run with confidence and push your limits every time.
