Protective and durable GORE-TEX legwear for year-round hiking and mountaineering, the Makalu Pants use GORE-TEX 75D fabric throughout and a fluorocarbon-free DWR that ensures reliable performance. 3/4 length 2-way side zips allow easy layering and added ventilation when required.

Just like the jacket, the Makalu Pants have been constructed with a GORE-TEX lining that uses an ePE membrane and an FC-free DWR finish, making them highly protective and shielding you from windy and wet weather whilst being highly breathable to provide optimum comfort across a range of hiking and climbing conditions. Working alongside this, the pants have a 3-layer construction with 75D face fabric enhancing their durability. For a comfortable feel and freedom of movement, Mountain Equipment has incorporated an active fit with articulated knees and a gusseted crotch, letting you adventure freely with no restrictions holding you back. An integrated, elasticated waistband with a drawcord helps adjust the pants for a personalised feel with adjustable hems to provide a closer fit. Completing the pants are 3/4 length 2-way YKK moulded side zips with venting double slider and internal flap, helping with an easy on/off as well as ventilation, zipped-up up air can flow keeping you cool all while releasing unwanted heat and when down traps in the warmth on those colder days.
