The strength of the Durian Hooded jacket lies in its adaptability. Warm, wicking and highly wind resistant, it holds its own as an outer during a high-energy ski tour and as a mid-layer during long days in changeable conditions. By bridging the gap between a fleece and soft-shell jacket, it offers an elegant alternative to multiple layers for those who value simplicity.
Crafted using a 270g/m2 microgrid lightweight fleece, the Durian hooded jacket has been designed to provide you with excellent warmth and comfort without the bulk. The inner fleece offers moisture-wicking properties to help remove sweat and external moisture to keep you dry while the outer fabric provides optimal wind resistance and keeps light snow and spindrift at bay. The jacket features an active fit that moves with the body to allow for a wide range of movement with restrictions getting in the way while the over-locked and top-stitched construction reduces the chance of irritation caused by chafing to further increase comfort. The YKK centre front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off and can also be used to regulate ventilation and the elastane-bound hood offers additional protection from the elements. Two zippered hand pockets and one zippered chest pocket provide optimal space to store your essential items and lastly, thumb loops prevent the sleeves from rising, ensuring they remain in place.
