Mountain Equipment Lightline Hooded Women's Down Jacket

Mountain Equipment's iconic, best-selling technical duvet jacket is ideal for freezing conditions anywhere in the world.

This warm and cosy cold-weather jacket prepares you for winter adventures. The Lightline Jacket features 700-fill power Pure Down with a stitch-through baffle construction to optimise warmth and prevent down migration, often leading to cold spots, especially in vulnerable areas like the shoulders, chest and hood. The Down is super lightweight with a low pack size to ensure easy packability and less bulk when stashing away. Allowing you to check specific information regarding the Down, the jacket has a unique DOWN CODEX code. This shows you specifically where that batch of down has been sourced from, provides precise down content and shows you the fill power figures. This warm, cosy jacket is constructed from DRILITE LOFT with a PU coating and 40D shell, a durable, lightweight construction with a weather-resistant 15,000mm HH to keep you shielded during light rain and windy weather. The woven downproof 20D lining provides moisture-wicking, breathable properties to keep you dry and comfortable when things heat up or get tough.

The Lightline has a women's specific design with a Mountain Fit to allow effective layering and prevent unnecessary bulk for unrestrictive, comfortable wearing. This warm jacket allows you to move freely, no matter the gear you have or the activity you're doing. A removable Mountain Insulated Hood keeps you cosy, warm and shielded from the constantly changing weather. When no longer needed, it is easily removed, leaving a high collar for warm coverage. The three down panels on the hood optimise the fit around your head, and with a drawcord, you can make preferred adjustments, even when wearing gloves. A full-length 2-Way YKK moulded centre front zip is easy to use, zip up or down to dump heat or prevent wind chill, as well as making it easy to take off or put on for confident adventures in wintery conditions. The sleeves enhance your mobility and provide unhindered movement, whilst adjustable and elasticated cuffs trap out wind chill and are easy to use when wearing gloves. Further keeping you warm and protected from windy or crisp weather, the jacket features a dual-tether hem drawcord for making adjustments and increasing the overall thermal efficiency. This duvet-style jacket provides you with space to organise and stash your essentials with easy access on the move. The zipped hand warmer pockets keep your hands toasty in cold weather and have an inner security pocket for discreet stashing. The garment stashes away into its own hand pocket for safe storage when you no longer want to wear it, with twin karabiner carry loops for easy carrying. Lightweight, warm and highly protective, the Lightline remains a benchmark piece for cold-weather insulation.
