Highly protective down pants with exceptional mobility for Alpine-style climbing at altitude and fast-moving Polar journeys.

The Kryos was informed by feedback from some of the world's best Alpinists, climbers who were increasingly pushing lighter jackets onto ever higher and more technical routes in the search for low weight and pack size with ever diminishing margins. This is achieved through the FIRESTORM construction, with hybrid baffling that combines both conventional stitched-through and pleated baffles with a Drilite Loft shell to give maximum warmth and protection for the minimum weight and pack size. It offers up to 20% greater warmth with up to 20% lower weight with far lower water and wind ingress. The Drilite Loft is totally windproof and weather-resistant, with a PFAS-free DWR to keep off the rain. Within the baffles lies 150g of 90/10 800 fill power Goose Down sourced through DOWN CODEX and the RDS 3.0 standard for animal welfare. The hybrid baffling combines both conventional stitched-through and pleated baffle construction, which helps to ensure maximum warmth whilst maintaining excellent mobility. The hybrid construction also reduces the effects of down migration, which can leave vulnerable areas with insufficient insulation, leading to cold spots. The full-length two-way moulded YKK side zips assist in putting the pants on and off, even while wearing your walking shoes and boots. The adjustable semi-elasticated waist ensures a close and comfortable fit, and features brace attachment points.
