Venture out in the coldest of conditions in the Paiyu. This down jacket is unlike other down jackets, its unique structure eliminates areas where cold leaks in through stitch lines thanks to the dual-layer offset baffle construction. The thick baffles are filled with RDS 3.0 certified, DOWN CODEX verified 90/10 700 fill Pure Down insulation which delivers a great warmth-to-weight ratio and is highly compressible and durable. The jacket meets full expedition specification, meaning you're guaranteed warmth even in biting cold. It is backed with a heat-reflective backing to keep the heat locked in whilst remaining breathable. 40D PU coated DRILITE Loft shell fabric keeps you protected and comfortable with water-resistant, windproof and breathable action. The woven downproof 20 Denier lining gives exceptional moisture transfer, comfort and packability. The Mountain HC insulated hood is fully adjustable and provides extra coverage when needed, and is also compatible with helmets. The external hood seams have been minimised for greater weather resistance. The jacket also features a plethora of pockets, with 2 outer hand pockets, an outer chest pocket, 2 large internal storage pockets and an internal chest security pocket. Use the internal pockets to keep water etc un-frozen when the mercury drops. The two-way full length zip is easy to use with gloves on and helps with harness access, and the arms have been cut especially for improved mobility, with elasticated Velcro sleeve openings that allow you to close in the fit to keep in warmth and keep out the elements. Dual tether drawcords provide adjustment and increase thermal efficiency, whilst the provided stuff sack allows you to pack up the jacket when not in use.
