Mountain Equipment's warmest, narrow-baffled down jacket. The Baltoro Jacket is an innovative insulator with a dual-layer offset baffle construction and an integrated reflective layer to improve thermal efficiency.
This warm and cosy cold-weather jacket prepares you for winter adventures. The Baltoro Jacket features 700-fill power Pure Down with a narrow dual-layer offset baffle construction to optimise warmth and prevent down migration, which causes cold spots, especially in vulnerable areas like the shoulders, chest and hood. The down is super-lightweight for a low pack size and easy packability when stashing away. The jacket has a unique DOWN CODEX code, allowing you to check specific information about the down. This shows details such as where that batch of down is sourced from, provides precise down content and shows you the fill power figures. This warm, cosy jacket is constructed from DRILITE LOFT with a PU coating and 20D shell, a durable, lightweight construction with a weather-resistant finish to keep you shielded during light rain and windy weather. An ultra-thin, breathable Radiant Barrier reflects body heat, enhancing insulation efficiency. A Mountain HC Insulated hood (and high collar) protects against the elements and is fully adjustable with the rear volume adjustment and two front adjusters, ensuring a perfect fit (and it can be worn with a helmet). The jacket has plenty of storage pockets, including two outer hand pockets reachable when carrying a pack, one outer chest pocket for small items, two inner pockets large enough to store your gloves and one inner security pocket to keep your essential items safely stowed. The garment stashes away into its own hand pocket for safe storage when you no longer want to wear it. Lastly, the full-length zip makes on/off easy while helping control ventilation.
