Engineered Knit Upper

Designed to provide lightweight support on the trails, the Montrail Trans Alps F.K.T III Trail Running Shoes have been constructed using an engineered knit upper. The lightweight mesh swathes the midfoot to support the foot and increase ventilation to keep you cool. The mesh allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The increase in airflow creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in and ensures you remain comfortable when your session heats up. To ensure structure and support, the upper also features a power-mesh sock and secondary lace cage. The power-mesh sock sits comfortably against the skin and supports the foot as it moves to ensure complete comfort at all times whilst the cage locks down the midfoot for a supportive fit. Completing the upper is a lacing system which can be tightened to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

FluidFoam Midsole

The midsole of the Montrail Trans Alps F.K.T III Trail Running Shoes have been designed to provide exceptional cushioning, flexibility and support. Montrail's signature Fluidfoam technology has been used within the midsole to provide smooth and soft cushioning that will support your feet on and off the trail. The Fluidfoam midsole compound is also highly flexible and supportive meaning it allows you to move freely whilst still supporting the muscles to help prevent injury on treacherous trails. Completing the midsole is a trail shield protection plate that ensures a smooth ride on uneven terrain. The protection plate provides torsion rigidity and tough forefoot protection for the trails.

Rubber Outsole
