The Atomic Pants feature the remarkable lightweight and versatile PERTEX Shield fabric with dry touch which offers an excellent balance of weather protection, breathability, and durability. Updated to include thigh length side leg zips for increased versatility and ease of use. Use them for any activity in the mountains.
The Montane Fem Atomic Women's Outdoor Pants are equipped with 40 Denier Pertex Shield which represents a fusion of technically advanced face fabrics with a breathable microporous waterproof coating. With the focus on durability, Shield combines wind and water protection with excellent breathability. The outdoor pants are fitted with articulated knees for step high movements and are tailored with a diamond crotch gusset for ease of movement which is perfect for mountain use. To ensure added comfort, they also have an elasticated waist with an adjustable, cinchable drawcord for a close and comfortable fit.
The lower leg of the outdoor pants have many different features including the 3/4 length YKK reverse coil side leg zips for access, ventilation and the ability to pull on without removing footwear. Equipped with a hook and loop calf tabs that reduce the volume around the calves minimising wind resistance and the likely possibility of abrasion on the inner low leg, while the lower leg also has an internal storm flap behind the side leg zips for increased weather protection. With the use of press studs for hem adjustment, it provides a tight fit against footwear to prevent the risk of heat loss. Lastly, to ensure visibility in low light conditions, the pants are fitted with 360-degree 'DUSK TILL DAWN' reflectivity.
