Montane Iridium Hoodie

Lightweight stretch technical alpine hooded fleece with a ceramic print on the exterior to increase durability. Designed for fast mountain assaults to be worn either on its own or as a layering piece under a hard shell or a soft shell jacket.

Construction

The Iridium Hoodie is made from a Pontetorto Tecnostretch fabric which is super durable, fast drying and stretchy. The stretch qualities of this product allow the wearer a greater range of movement and improve the wearer's performance and overall comfort. Flat locking seams have been used for construction which allows the garment to sit close to the skin without causing the bulk, chafe and discomfort that is commonly caused by larger seams. The articulated arms allow full freedom of movement and help to prevent the wearer feeling uncomfortable and restricted. The hem is specifically tailored to stay in place which can prevent cold air getting inside of the hoodie and warm air being released.

Hood And Pocket Configuration

The stretch bound hood allows for a close fit and can be used underneath a helmet. Two zippered pockets which mesh lining has been added to the sides of this hood which provides storage space for essential items. The pockets have been strategically placed clear of backpack hip belt or climbing harness. A pocket has also been placed on the chest of this garment which will provide storage space for essentials the wearer may need to access more frequently.

Front Zip, Cuff And Sleeve Configuration

The center front zip uses a full-length YKK Vislon Zip which allows easy access to climbing or rucksack harness. The low profile of the wrist cuffs helps to reduce bulk and helps to keep heat inside of the hoodie, ideal for colder training days.
