Material And Construction
The Medusa Hoodie from Montane is made from a Marl-Lite material which offers superb moisture wicking qualities and allows the garment to remain lightweight and soft against the skin. Wicking moisture means that excess sweat and moisture is drawn away from the skin and moved to outer fabric layers where it can be easily evaporated. The soft, lightweight properties of the material allow the garment to sit smoothly on the skin and help to prevent the wearer feeling weighed down and restricted. A POLYGIENE treatment has also been used on the fabric which reduces the risk of bacteria build-up which could cause odour, keeping the wearer feeling fresh for longer. Throughout construction, flat locking seams have been used which will prevent the wearer feeling chafe and discomfort which is commonly caused by large and bulky seams.

A zip-finished pocket, which is located in the rear hip area, allows the wearer to securely store small essentials that they need on their adventures. The softly shaped hood offers a cross-over chin area, protecting the neck area from the cold wind and rain. This feature will also help to block the elements entering through the hood opening. The double-layer stretch cuffs allow the sleeves to sit comfortably around the wrists and hands for improved comfort and reduces the risk of restriction. Thumb loopholes on the wrists help to securely hold the sleeves in place. This feature can also block cold wind and rain entering the hoodie through the sleeve openings.
