Key Materials And Construction

The main body of the Featherlite 21 is made from RAPTOR Featherlite 100 Denier Triple rip-stop material which is extremely durable and will keep the pack and its contents protected and secure. This material has been treated with a PU coating to offer further protection and will increase abrasion resistance and tear strength. CONTACT Air Mesh Plus panels placed on the shoulder straps, hip fins and back pad will provide much-needed ventilation. This means that warm air will be released easily, therefore, keeping the user cool and undistracted as they explore. HALO fabric lines the pack which is superbly lightweight. This will finish the inside of the pack smoothly without adding unnecessary weight. Throughout the construction of the Halogen 25 minimal seams have been used. This will increase the strength of the bag and will reduce the weight even further. Placed in the back area of the pad are ventilation channels. This is a key feature for ventilation as it releases warm air from larger areas, therefore working quickly and effectively to keep the user cool. A removable foam pad is fitted inside the back panel of the pack. This can be removed to reduce weight but can protect the users back from objects in the pack digging into the body and causing discomfort and irritation.

Pockets And Attachments

Even the Featherlite 21 pack its self is packable! It can be stowed away inside of its own lid to save space. A circular bucket style main zip opening pocket allows the user to quickly and effectively access their kit. Thanks to the reinforced zips and pull fastenings added to this opening, the pack's contents will remain safe and secure, giving the wearer full peace of mind. The multi-pocket configuration of the pack provides versatile storage options. Some of these pockets include an internal security pocket, and external buddy pocket and hip fin pocket. These are great for individually storing away essential items. The hip fin pockets are quick and handy as they allow the wearer to easily access items which may be frequently required. At the base of the pack, a dual pole attachment point provides a secure space for storing walking poles separately to the main compartment. A hydration bladder tube opening is offered which will allow the wearer to attach a bladder separately, therefore, allowign them to stay easily hydrated on the move.

Specifically designed for women, Chest Flexor split shoulder straps have been used in the construction of the Featherlite 21 which will are specifically positioned to wrap certain areas of the female body. This will provide an unrivalled fit and vastly improve comfort. Top tension shoulder straps are used as they are fully adjustable and allow the wearer to tighten or slacken the straps depending on personal preference. Top single-handed adjustment compression straps have been placed on the sides of the pack, allowign the wearer to easily adjust the tension of the straps as and when they need without wasting time and energy. The intergrated waist belt provides a stable fit around the middle and reduces the risk of the pack moving around and potentially disturbing the users balance and concentration, especially when the pack is fully and possibly heavy.
