Featherlight XV Outer
The Future Lite hoodie has a bluesign-approved Featherlight XV outer which has a durable, water-repellent coating, which protects the fabric against dirt and moisture. This makes the hoodie ideal for fast-paced activities; the protection against adverse conditions is important, but the material also makes the hoodie lightweight and packable, which is crucial when adventuring.
HyperDRY down
For insulation, Montane has used 750-fill goose down. Montane takes animal welfare very seriously, and have partnered with Allied Feather and Down to ensure that all Down used is high-quality, sustainable, and ethical. The Future Lite hoodie uses 90g of Allied HyperDRY water-resistant down. Down has the ability to breathe and wick away body moisture, keeping you dry and warm. This Down is RDS-certified and has been treated with a fluorocarbon-free water repellant to shield the down from moisture so that it retains its insulating properties.
Construction
The nano-baffle construction of the Hoodie ensures that it provides optimum insulation in every situation. The hood can be worn under a helmet and is elasticated, in order to prevent it slipping off during climbs. Zoned baffle stitching underneath the arms allow better breathability, and zipped hand and chest pockets allow your valuables to be kept safe. The Hoodie can be stuffed into an internal pocket to provide portability.
