The outer fabric of the Extreme gloves feature Pertex Quantum. Pertex Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to provide a light and soft fabric that allows insulation to fully loft. Precisely constructed from incredibly fine yarns, Pertex Quantum fabrics are designed to trap still air and improve the efficiency of insulation. Additionally, a durable water repellency (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide further weather protection.
DRYACTIV 2000 deep pile lining beds down to the shape of your hand as well as promoting effective moisture management by wicking away excess sweat and moisture to leave you feeling cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. PrimaLoft GOLD insulation is located on the back of the hand for added warmth and protection. Pre-curved, ergonomic boxwall construction with roll-tip fingertips add dexterity while flocked microfleece nose-wipe is on the thumb so you can remain comfortable without having to remove the gloves.
Durable and water resistant leather acts as resistance to wet conditions so your hands remain dry and you can maintain focus without sacrificing comfort. An adjustable hem is used to prevent spindrift and heat loss while a locking wrist cinch reduces excess fabric across the back of the hand. An elasticated leash is ideal for strong winds where the glove retention is critical. Lastly, A finger karabiner loop provides harness storage when the gloves are not needed.
