Montane High Alpine 20 Backpack

Full of features the Montane High Alpine 20 Backpack is a super lightweight, high altitude day mountaineering and climbing pack.

Developed and tested with Montane athletes, the High Alpine 20 utilises the incredibly strong yet lightweight Raptor Diamond fabric, a signature technology from Montane. This Raptor fabric is extremely light yet exceptionally tough creating the perfect high-altitude mountaineering and climbing pack. Fully featured and able to take all your gear required, this pack is ideal for a day's assault in the mountains.

Packed with features, this backpack has been designed with attachment points for the more treacherous climbs. These attachment points include a place for a daisy chain, axe, rope and helmet ensuring you have all the kit you need throughout the day. A chest harness provides stability as well as comfort, ensuring the pack won't move around keeping it moving with you instead of against you. Highly adjustable, this pack also has a waist belt which can be tailored to fit you perfectly or if it's too uncomfortable it can simply be removed. Additionally, this waist belt is climbing harness-compatible. A zipped chest pocket on the harness provides an accessible, secure pocket for a valuable item whilst a zipped side pocket ensures you won't lose your items.

Constructed using three fabrics, Raptor Diamond 70 and Raptor 210 being the main ones, these fabrics are known for being tough and abrasion resistant. Designed using Nylon, these fabrics have a tight weave over 1000mm Hydrostatic head and are used on most of Montane's packs as they are abrasion resistant. The other fabric used on this pack is Contact Alpine which gives you a soft comfortable feel. A halo lining offers further lightweight protection to whatever's in your pack keeping your belongings safe and secure.

The asymmetric drawcord opening with Cord Lord quick-release adjustment gives you quick accessibility so you can simply put on or take off the backpack. The shape of the backpack has been designed to match the shape of your back with a tapered fit. This fit ensures that the pack perfectly aligns with you to feel like it is part of you. A snow-shedding back system is ideal for when you're on the go in harsher conditions. This system doesn't let snow penetrate your belongings keeping them safe whilst also keeping them waterproof. A removable ribbed back pad provides you with comfort as well as protection, and if this isn't a necessity it can easily be removed.
