Montane GR Sun Hat

The Montane GR Sun Hat is a technical hat for hot summer days when you're on the trails or up in the mountains and you need some extra protection.

The Montane GR Sun Hat has been made with a soft, lightweight polyester ripstop fabric, that is moisture-wicking and has UPF protective materials to keep you feeling cool and protected all day long. The mhat has been treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) for added water resistance, encouraging light rain to bead off, providing protection in light showers. An internal headband has been added, this is made of CoolMax® polyester, designed to help manage moisture, heat and sweat. This helps to effectively wick away moisture from the surface of the skin, preventing it from building up around your head for improved comfort. Not only does this wick away sweat and moisture, this also has anti-odour technology built in, keeping you feeling fresh on those long hike or multi-day trips. The GR Sun Hat offers UPF 50+ sun protection to shield you from harmful rays in exposed conditions. Finishing the hat Montane have added die-cut ventilation holes to boost airflow and a chin strap to help hold it in place as you move.
