Montane Alta Lite GORE-TEX Men's Jacket

Lightweight and extremely protective, the Montane Alta Lite waterproof jacket is built with GORE-TEX PRO technology, designed to reduce weight and maximise full-garment breathability.

The Montane Alta Lite Jacket has been designed to protect you in the harshest conditions while remaining highly breathable. Created using GORE-TEX PRO ePE technology, this jacket is highly waterproof, keeping you dry when the heavens open. Featuring over 9 billion pores per square inch, which are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, the jacket prevents rain/snow from penetrating. The pores are 700 times larger than water vapour molecules, allowing sweat to escape, keeping you dry from the inside out. The jacket uses reduced-seam taping compared to previous models in Montane's range; however, this maximises the jacket's breathability while reducing weight. Across the peak, hems and cuff tabs, Montane has used a laminated construction to reduce seams and weight while boosting the jacket's overall durability. The use of offset seams further increases durability while enhancing comfort by preventing chafing on the move. The Alta Lite features our advanced BARRIER and STORMGUARD systems, designed for effective weather protection and efficient lightweight performance. The dropped hem and mountain fit ensure complete protection. Engineered with gear compatibility in mind, this waterproof jacket features Montane's helmet-compatible PIVOT 3 hood for dual crown adjustment and volume reduction when needed. Pit zips also feature, allowing you to release unwanted heat, keeping you cool and comfortable throughout your adventure. Two harness-compatible AquaGuard zipped hand pockets ensure comfort while also protecting valuable items you need to stow away, while an internal chest pocket adds to the storage space.
