This is the ultimate down jacket - designed to kit you out for comprehensive cold weather protection in freezing conditions.
Engineered with windproof Pertex Quantum, this featherweight yet heavy duty down jacket offers robust wind protection and the tough recycled nylon ripstop with a PFAs-free DWR keeps off light rain. This mountain ready jacket has been filled with plenty of ExpeDRY goose down at 800+ fill power for great warmth at a low weight ratio. The down has been treated to be water-repellent and quick drying, perfect for damper conditions. The chemical-free technology works because the integrated gold particles vibrate water molecules, just like heat does, to speed up evaporation to a rate faster than the water absorption rate of down, while managing moisture from the body. The stitch-through baffle construction makes it lightweight and packable, and offset seams improve construction, durability and comfort. The synthetic panels under the arms work to retain warmth even when wet, with 4 way stretch for freedom of movement and less bulk. The REACH construction has been optimised for forward reach and mobility, perfect for alpine adventures, and the PIVOT 2 hood provides extra coverage when you need it and is adjustable at the aperture and crown. A chest pocket and two YKK Natulon recycled zipped hand pockets provide plenty of storage on the move. The elasticated cuffs work to seal out the elements to keep you cosy and protected. Finally, a Cube stuff sack keeps the jacket compact when not in use.
