Montane Anti-Freeze XT Women's Down Jacket
This is the ultimate down jacket - designed to kit you out for comprehensive cold weather protection in freezing conditions.
Engineered to enhance your performance while on the go, the Anti-Freeze XT Jacket keeps you warm and comfortable wherever you are. By utilising Pertex Quantum fabric, the jacket stays lightweight, packable and soft to the touch, whilst providing windproof protection and a water repellent fluorocarbon finish. This is combined with ExpeDRY 800-fill Goose Down, which has non-toxic gold particles bonded to it for fast-drying performance and industry-leading warmth. A stitch-through baffle construction has been used to reduce the overall weight of the jacket with insulated pockets in the fabric allowing for air to pass through seams while retaining body heat. To reduce moisture build up and bulky fabric in the armpits, Montane have designed the Anti-Freeze XT to have synthetic panels under the arms to manage this. REACH technology has been used to optimise reach on mountain expeditions giving you maximum freedom of movement. The jacket also features Montane's Pivot hood, which includes two separate toggles for adjusting the fit, on the aperture and the crown, allowing quick cinching either over a climbing helmet, or to protect the face from rain and windy conditions. To assist in retaining heat, elasticated cuffs assist in self-sealing and minimising chances of sleeves riding up when mobile. To complete the jacket, an internal pocket sits flat against the chest for secure storage, alongside hand pockets for easy quick access. Within the hand pocket is a Cube Stuff Sack to easily store the jacket when not in use.
