The PFC/PFAS chemical-free, high-performance 3-layer fabric is highly breathable with excellent wet weather protection and pit zips to dump heat on the move.
Montane have used their new PETRICHOR technology in the construction of the Torren Jacket. PETRICHOR 3-layer technology delivers waterproof protection with a hydrostatic head of 20,000mm and exceptionally breathable performance. It scores a RET 7 rating, which means it is ideally suited for high-output activities, where it will remain breathable to keep you dry inside and out. This is achieved through a windproof membrane that transports water vapour and moisture away from the body. The membrane is sandwiched between the waterproof face fabric and the back material for improved durability and next-to-skin comfort. A fully adjustable mountain hood offers a perfect fit alongside further elemental protection while the two-way YKK full front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off and can also be used to regulate airflow for optimal ventilation. YKK zippered hand pockets provide storage space for your essential items or a refuge for your hands when the temperature drops. Large pit zips have been incorporated to be used on the move and provide adaptable ventilation. The hem is fully adjustable to minimise heat loss and block windchill and laminated technology features at the peak, hem and cuff tabs to reduce seams and improve durability. Completing the jacket are articulated sleeves that allow for a wide range of movement without restrictions holding you back.
