Constructed using QShield Down technology, the Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket by Mountain Hardwear maintains maximum loft. Q.Shield Down fibres are infused with a permanent water repellency which helps to maintain insulating performance even in damp conditions. The Down also works to resist heat-robbing moisture and retains maximum loft even when wet, to keep you as warm as possible at all times. Essentially, this acts as a moisture-wicking material to keep you free from excess sweat and moisture. Additionally, cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your skin to thrive. Additionally, Nikwax hydrophobic down keeps you dry in harsh weather conditions, the down resist water maintaining its insulation properties and keeping you comfortable for longer.
The low-profile quilt pattern used throughout the jacket creates heat-trapping down channels to give extra warmth. As the jacket is lightweight, it makes it a great piece of clothing to add layers under or over without feeling restricted and weighed down but still offers great warmth and comfort. A single interior toggle hem has been fitted in this jacket to allow for easy adjustment, giving the wearer the desired fit for a comfortable wear. An alpine fit sits comfortably against the body and provides an optimum fit whilst elastic inner cuff seal out the cold. A built-in secure loop has been added to the jacket for a carabiner attachment to a harness when it is stuffed. Lastly, the jacket can be zipped into its own pocket for compact storage.
