Envelope your feet in breathable comfort with the New Balance Fresh Foam 680v6. Constructed with an engineered mesh upper the 680v6 delivers exceptional ventilation, allowing cool air to permeate the entire construction, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. The increase in ventilation creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in so you can remain comfortable on long-distance days. A padded collar sits comfortably against the skin to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation whilst a heel counter locks down the heel for a supportive fit. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
The midsole of the New Balance 680v6 Running Shoes has been constructed using abzorb cushioning technology to ensure lightweight comfort. The midsole designed to be as lightweight as traditional EVA but bouncier so you can enjoy its cushioning benefits for longer. Abzorb works to inundate shocks as soon as the foot makes an impact resulting in a softer, bouncier ride which reduces the risks of injury. It is also super durable and works with IMEVA cushioning to ensure a comfortable ride from sunrise to sundown. IMEVA provides firm yet flexible cushioning so you can feel supported through any run.
Completing the New Balance 680v6 Running Shoes is a blown rubber outsole which provides durable traction so you can go further and faster for longer. The full rubber outsole is able to form a solid bond with the ground beneath it so you can remain grounded at all times. The durable rubber outsole will withstand wear and tear and ensure traction on uneven terrain. As well as this lugs have been used on the outsole to ensure added traction in both wet and dry conditions.
