Leather Upper
Constructed using a leather upper, the New Balance 608v5 Training Shoes offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The soft leather ensures long-lasting comfort yet provides ample protection in and out of the gym. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a shoe you can truly rely on. Perforations within the fabric increase airflow, therefore, creating a perfect environment for your feet to thrive in. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
ABZORB Midsole
The midsole of the New Balance 608v5 Training Shoes uses ABZORB technology which ensures exceptional shock absorption for all-day wear. Using a superior blend of foam cushioning and compressed rubber, the midsole prevents shocks and impacts from causing damage as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. IMEVA has also been used within the midsole to increase underfoot cushioning. The EVA absorbs shocks and transfers them into a rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. Completing the midsole is an internal shank which increases torsional rigidity to support the foot as it moves through the gait cycle. The midsole has a PU insert that provides excellent cushioning in order to provide you with all-day cushioning.
Slip-Resistant Outsole
Tried and tested by ASTM standards, the 608v5s have a slip-resistant, non-marking outsole, performing an exceptional level of traction and support on various surfaces, to keep you stable throughout your next activity.
