Synthetic and Textile Upper

Supplying you with a cool, breathable trail running experience, the FuelCell SuperComp 2s utilise a lightweight and durable synthetic and textile upper. The lightweight uppers have a sleek design and a breathable feel for optimum comfort and confidence on the trail. Strategically placed perforations provide you with a constant supply of airflow, ensuring overheating and a build-up of moisture are both prevented. The flexible nature of the materials allows your feet to move comfortably and naturally when out on tricky trails, keeping you stable and focused on the run ahead. The shoes have a plush, cushioned collar and tongue for a secure, irritation-free journey. The upper is finished with an adjustable lace closure that provides a customisable, comfortable fit, keeping feet locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slipping.

FuelCell and PEBA Midsole

The FuelCell midsole compound is a nitrogen-infused foam with approximately 3% bio-based content that quickly drives you off the cushioning platform and delivers long-lasting performance. Delivering high rebound, the FuelCell SuperComp creates an energetic propulsive feel with an ultra-lightweight running experience. The propulsive feel helps to drive you forward for an even faster feeling on race days. The midsole absorbs shock and negative impact forces as you heel strike and uses the energy to catapult you into your next step, allowing you to be faster. This is combined with PEBA, which reduces the weight whilst remaining responsive. With an updated carbon-fibre plate, the FuelCell SuperComp 2 is more aggressive, providing more energy and propulsion during toe-off. Additionally, Energy Arc pairs advanced carbon fibre plate geometry with strategically shaped and placed midsole voids, designed to increase stored energy to deliver a high amount of total energy returned.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

To enhance grip and traction across a variety of surfaces and terrains, the FuelCell SuperComp utilises a Vibram Megagrip, providing support on wet and dry ground. This durable outsole also utilises Vibram Lightbase, which reduces the overall weight and thickness of the sole, whilst helping to maintain the grip, traction and durability. This combination of outsole materials works with Traction Lug technology to provide you with the support you need for the changing terrains on your trail run.
