Built for road racing, the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Pacer V2 features lightweight performance technology that takes your running up a notch. Ideal for 5 and 10Ks.
Engineered using a breathable, mesh upper, the FuelCell SuperComp Pacer delivers an extremely breathable and lightweight feel. This design ensures your feet remain cool and comfortable as the mesh allows warm air to escape and cool air to circulate, so you can stay focused on reaching your goals without worrying about discomfort. A flat tongue construction further minimises distractions by reducing irritation from rubbing, thereby enhancing comfort. This design provides a locked-in feel for a reliable, secure fit at a lightweight. A traditional lace-up closure provides a secure, comfortable fit that locks the foot in place, and the logo is spray-painted to shave weight.
A FuelCell compound resides in the midsole. This nitrogen-infused foam drives you off the ground and delivers long-lasting performance. Delivering high rebound, the FuelCell SuperComp creates an energetic, propulsive feel for an ultra-lightweight running experience. The propulsive feel helps you push forward, giving you a faster feeling on race day. The midsole absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as you heel strike and uses the energy to catapult you into your next step, allowing for a faster toe-off. Featuring Energy Arc, the FuelCell SuperComp pairs sport-specific carbon fibre plate geometry with strategic midsole voids. This has been designed to increase stored energy, delivering a higher energy return, while the angular midsole design reduces weight.
Finishing up the Fuelcell SuperComp Pacer is a lightweight rubber outsole that provides great traction and durability. The lightweight rubber compound won't hold you back on race day, so you are free to push harder and reach your goals. With added durability, the outsole protects the midsole so that every step is cushioned during many long races.
