Inspired by the original 'Windcheater' jacket from 1978, the Marathon Jacket is a long time staple in the closets of runners everywhere. This update brings a fresh look and feel to the jacket's classic design cues. The TCS New York City Marathon edition features the race's official logo at the right chest and across the back.
Featuring a comfortable stretch fabric, the TCS New York City Marathon jacket from New Balance offers you a good fit for runs of all ranges. The jacket, made with Wind and Water Defy fabrics, shields you from light rain and wind during your run, helping you stay dry and fresh for a longer time in changing conditions. Featuring articulated sleeves, mobility is increased for improved performance and minimal restriction, while an articulated placket follows the human form for a relaxed yet distraction-free fit, and a full-length zip allows you to swiftly remove or put on the jacket as needed. For added cooling, a back vent has been added to the design, improving air circulation. Elasticated cuffs ensure the sleeves do not roll up and entrap heat and a draw corded hem allows you to easily adjust and personalise the fit on your waist. Two hand pockets have been added to either side to hold small essentials. Finally, reflective taping can be found at the front chest, back vent and underarm to improve visibility in low-light conditions.
