Nike Free Run 5.0 Running Shoes
The Nike Free Run 5.0 will feel like a natural extension of your feet. Designed for short runs up to three miles, the shoes offer a minimal low-profile design allowing you to move freely and easily through your full range of motion.
Breathable Knit Upper
The Nike Free Run 5.0's upper is a stretchy, open-knit material that follows the shape of your foot closely, whilst also providing great breathability. The mesh construction allows an efficient amount of airflow in and out of the shoes, so that your feet stay dry, even during the more intense movements. Using this material will also allow your feet more room to stretch when you run, providing you with an ultimately comfortable experience. This is also reinforced with synthetic suede to provide abrasion protection and durability for the shoes. The upper is completed by laces with flywire technology throughout, to provide a more secure and flexible fit for your feet.
Flexible Midsole
Providing a sock-like fit, the midsole has a lighter, more comfortable foam, which is more responsive than its predecessors. The Nike Free midsole is 26% more flexible than last year's model, which gives you free rein to flex your midfoot, splay your toes and push off the ground, all without feeling inhibited. The midsole of the Nike Free Run 5.0 brings your feet closer to the ground, which keeps you in tune with the terrain, and how your body is moving.
Nike Free Outsole
Engineered for the natural range of motion, the Nike Free technology is integrated into these shoes to allow your feet to feel free. Laser-cut flex grooves offer more flexibility, with rubber at the forefoot and heel, to provide extra durability. This mechanism allows your feet to move more in line with a barefoot run. Even more so, the Nike Free outsole is shaped to the anatomy of your foot, providing you with a more natural experience.
