Lightweight, Breathable Upper

Exceptionally more breathable than their predecessors, this version has lightweight mesh that keeps air flowing and your foot cool. The durable screenprint reinforces the mesh from toe to heel ensuring long-lasting durability to supplement the firm and adaptive feel of the shoe, without sacrificing breathability. Promoting lockdown and improving stability, the Metcon AMP works to protect your feet through harsh training sessions by ensuring resilience and strength as you power through any workout. The lightweight yet durable textured print protects your feet during any workout whilst perforations in the fabric increase airflow, creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. On the heel, a strong reinvented rubber compound has been used to reinforce Metcon's suitability for high-intensity workouts. The rubber works to resist abrasion allowing you to wall sit, lift and lunge with complete confidence. Reflective details on the upper increase visibility in low-light conditions, offering flexibility when you train. Completing the upper is a lacing system with integrated Flywire cables that ensures midfoot support so you can enjoy distraction-free strides and with this, a tab to lock the laces in place to completely keep your attention on your session.

React Foam Midsole

React Foam in the midsole ensures even more comfort than before, to keep you ready for highly intense activities. Nike React Foam offers a comfortable, cushioned light and elastic base for your cardio exercises and sprints. It is already 11% softer than before and provides 13% more energy return, the foam is more durable and more lightweight, so overall an exceptional material for your shoes. Nike React Foam makes a comfortable, cushioned base that feels exceptionally lightweight, and springy when you kick into high gear for cardio and sprinting. A wide, flat heel provides stability, as it has an inner plate that distributes weight from edge to edge of the shoes. In addition, the inner plate is flexible to provide comfort in cardio intervals.

Multi-directional Outsole

Developed using a directional outsole, the Nike Metcon AMP Training Shoes increase underfoot traction for a wide range of training activities. Ensuring a strong and stable base, the outsole wraps even further around the side of the midfoot for added grip when climbing a rope and speed when sliding back down. Increasing traction, the rubber provides stable footing when moving from one place to the next. This is ideal for tough workouts, gym sessions, and classes where you typically make a lot of sharp, aggressive and lateral movements. The renewed rubber tread even offers more traction on the road. The solid rubber keeps you connected to the floor and allows for smoother, stabler transitions. Finally, the grooves provided in the sole of the shoe, allow for your forefoot to bend more naturally to ensure a comfortable wearing and training experience.
