Fine-tuned for marathon speed, the Alphafly 3 helps push you beyond what you thought possible. Three innovative technologies power your run: A double dose of Air Zoom units helps launch you into your next step; a full-length carbon fibre plate helps propel you forward with ease; and a heel-to-toe ZoomX foam midsole helps keep you fresh from start to 26.2. Time to leave your old personal records in the dust.
Providing your feet with an outstanding level of comfort and support, the Alphafly NEXT% 3 utilises a new Atomknit upper construction. The materials throughout the upper of the shoe provide you with a contoured fit, with improved multidirectional containment and breathability. The minimalist fabric sits close to the foot to ensure a dynamic, lightweight fit that's ideal for racing whilst perforations within the fabric increase airflow, creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The breathable upper allows cool air to flow into the construction while simultaneously allowing hot, humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The uppers also feature notched laces, which offer a more secure, yet soft lace-up system for a more locked-in feel and work alongside an integrated knit tongue with lofted padding to ensure a secure fit, which helps to alleviate lace pressure.
The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 3 Running Shoes utilises a ZoomX midsole for optimal cushioning. Nike's ZoomX is lighter, softer and more responsive than any Nike foam, designed to maximise speed by delivering greater energy return. ZoomX was derived from a foam traditionally used in aerospace innovation, and applied for the first time in performance footwear. The ZoomX midsole in this shoe is a lightweight cushioning providing you exceptional comfort and protection for your feet. The foam construction also delivers impressive energy return, giving you the propulsion that you need from a racing shoe. Alongside the ZoomX midsole are 2 visible forefoot Zoom Air units, which assist you with more energy return. A full-length carbon plate is also integrated into the shoe and delivers a snappy sensation with each stride. The carbon plate has been made slightly wider than previous versions to provide increased stability that helps you smoothly transition through every stride and tackle turns with confidence.
Designed using data gathered from hundreds of runners, the outsole of the Nike Alphafly NEXT% 3 Running Shoes provides you with a great deal of traction. The soles have different angles of traction placed in areas of the shoe where you will need them most, therefore providing grip from toe-off through to every phase of your stride. The durable rubber that's provided, ensures a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping.
