Engineered Mesh Upper

Created with an engineered mesh upper, the Journey Run envelopes your foot in breathable comfort. The shoes feature a contoured fit, that follows the shape of the foot, providing a comfortable fit as soon as you lace up. The mesh allows a constant flow of air to enter and exit the shoes. As you begin to exercise and your training intensifies, warm air will start to build up within the shoes. The perforations within the upper will allow the built-up heat to escape easily, where it will be replaced by cooler air. The mesh constantly makes sure that you feel comfortable and ventilated. Moisture-managing, the upper also wicks away sweat and excess moisture from the feet to the outer of the shoe which allows quicker evaporation, ensuring dry and fresh feet during active movements. The toe area has been reinforced with additional mesh to increase the durability of the shoe. Not only will this protect the shoe from damage, keeping them looking their best for longer but it also protects the user's feet from knocks and scrapes. The foam collar and tongue help to enhance comfort while a standard lacing system ensures easy on/off of the shoes and offers the most secure fit for you.

Cushioned Foam Midsole

Made with an Injection Unitsole, the foam midsole will serve you by protecting, cushioning and supporting distinctive movements. The foam is extremely soft and with the high stack height, the shoes deliver a smoother ride by providing cushioning on every step that you take. The responsive cushioning will take the pressure off the knees and ankles to reduce the risk of injuries occurring, allowing you to carry on without any distractions.

Rubber Outsole

Completing the Nike Journey Run is a durable rubber outsole. The design of the outsole provides smooth transitions for calm strides. Flex grooves in the outsole move naturally with your foot, from heel to toe, ensuring the shoes mimic the natural movements of your run. Made with Nike Grind materials, the outsole is super lightweight and does good for the planet. Nike Grind is made up of surplus manufacturing materials and recycled shoes. The rubber has a durable quality, resisting wear in high-wear areas for better traction on pavement.
