Nike Pegasus 41 Junior Running Shoes

It's not always the distance you remember after a run but how you felt while running it. With this in mind, Nike has designed the Peg 41 to help make the miles feel soft and springy, allowing juniors to focus on their pace and technique - not their shoes. A lightweight, breathable upper helps make them comfortable, whether sprinting in a 200-metre race or going for a casual weekend run.

Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper is made of an engineered mesh that's lightweight and breathable to create an inviting feel and fit for junior feet. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow, creating a healthier environment for feet to thrive in. When temperatures rise, the well-ventilated upper ensures constant cooling so they can power through any workout easily. The mesh is designed to stretch with the foot for a comfortable shape and fit as they move throughout the gait cycle. A padded tongue and collar lining help to provide extra comfort throughout the upper. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot, reduces in-shoe slippage and enhances support so they can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Plush Foam Midsole

Providing your junior with a soft, lightweight and durable midsole, the shoes utilise a plush foam that delivers comfortable durability plus smooth responsiveness. Soft, generous and durable, the cushioning foam will spare their joints as they strike down onto hard, unforgiving concrete. Embedded within the foam platform is a Zoom Air unit, complementing its plush and rebounding nature. This low-profile midsole feature combines pressurised air with internal fibres to deliver responsive cushioning that springs back fast so they can move faster. Finishing the midsole, the heel extension helps optimise their landing space when their foot hits the ground.

Abrasion-Resistant Rubber Outsole

Produced using a waffle-inspired rubber outsole, the Pegasus 41 ensures extraordinary traction in varied conditions. The durable rubber provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. The rubber is placed on high-wear areas such as the forefoot and heel to increase durability and resist traumas of heel strikes; supplying your junior with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. The rubber has been removed in the midfoot to reduce weight, further enhancing the lighter-than-air feel of this shoe. Wave-like flex grooves also feature on the outsole to supply added traction and flexibility underfoot.
