Dominate in style with the Zoom Rival Distance spike. With a lightweight, breathable upper and cushioned midsole, this adaptable spike dials you in for a wide range of middle- and long-distance races. It takes lessons from the game-changing Dragonfly spike to give you efficient energy return for the tough middle laps and top-end speed as you kick into the homestretch.
Providing your feet with breathability, the upper of the Zoom Rival Spikes has a single-layer mesh construction, which encases your feet comfortably. The single-layer mesh provides lightweight breathability in areas needed most without sacrificing proper containment. Perforations in the fabric help air circulate efficiently around the feet. When temperatures rise the well-ventilated upper ensures a constant cooling effect so you can power through any workout easily. No-sew overlays have been implemented into the upper to better support your foot and enhance durability, specifically focused in the heel for stability and the toes due to this area being high wearing. An arch band around the midfoot secures your fit, with dynamic lacing helping to lock the foot into place for a distraction less run. The laces are accented with a removable gold chain and charm.
Cushioning resides underfoot to deliver a soft, yet resilient and responsive ride. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, track surfaces. Extra cushioning is also present in the midfoot and heel to provide comfort when running longer distances and to ensure smooth, propulsive transitioning during foot strike. Offering elite traction on various tracks the shoes have four replaceable spikes. The outsole is made from a durable steel material to provide long-lasting durability and is also replaceable for long-term use. The shoes are versatile for distance events from 400 meters to 10,000 metres and secondary events such as the hurdles, long jump, triple jump, pole vault and cross country.
