NNormal Tomir 2.0 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes

The Tomir 2.0 GORE-TEX has all the ingredients the standard version has, with one addition: the GORE-TEX invisible fit waterproof membrane. This product ensures you blaze through any conditions, cold or wet, whilst keeping your feet protected.

Polyester and TPE Upper

The upper of the NNormal Tomir 2.0 Trail Running Shoes has been created using a Monofilament Polyester and TPE Ripstop fabric that is highly durable. The fabric protects itself from bumps and scrapes from rocks and trail debris, providing a long-lasting shoe. The upper is highly breathable, allowing cool air to circulate whilst simultaneously releasing built-up heat, providing your feet with the perfect microclimate to thrive in. The shoes feature a GORE-TEX Invisible membrane, a waterproof and breathable membrane that keeps your feet dry from the inside by allowing built-up moisture and heat to escape while simultaneously blocking out external moisture, from rain and snow, keeping your feet dry inside and out for maximum comfort. Invisible fit is thinner than other membranes, providing a true fit and feel with increased comfort and freedom of movement. Increasing protection, NNormal have added TPU foils on the toe box and around the shoe to help prevent injury from knocks and scrapes. The upper is stretched into the midsole to increase the shoe's durability. Finishing the upper of the shoes is an asymmetrical lacing system which increases support and reduces pressure points for a comfortable, locked-in feel when on the trail. The laces are made from an anti-slip fabric; once tied, these will not come undone.

EExpure Midsole

Constructed using NNormal new supercritical foam compound, the Tomir 2.0 provides all the cushioning you need for long days on the trail. The foam offers significant cushioning and rebound, giving an added boost to each step. This improves performance so you can stay at your optimum level for longer. The foam is lighter than the previous Tomir model but provides a higher energy return. The midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle, providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risk of injury. The foot is in direct contact with the midsole unit, providing you with better propulsion, less movement and fewer blisters. A wider base has been used to increase stability when on uneven terrain, whilst improved rocker geometry assists you through the gait cycle for lower-impact and comfortable running over longer periods.

Vibram Outsole

Finishing the shoe is the outsole, the Tomir 2.0 uses a combination of compounds created by Vibram. The first of the two is Megagrip, a high-performance rubber compound that offers unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain, whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity, providing unprecedented grip hike after hike and trail after trail. The second is Litebase. Vibram Litebase reduces the overall sole weight by 30% through reducing sole thickness by 50%, while still maintaining Vibram's quality grip, traction and durability. The two Vibram compounds make the outsole of the Tomir 2.0 lightweight and grippy, ready to tackle any trail you put in front of it. Not only this, but the shoes use Vibram Traction Lugs too. Vibram's Traction Lugs increase traction by up to 25%. Adding stability and improving surface area by 50%.
