The new plush seamless upper wraps around the foot delivering a secure fit that offers next-to-skin comfort, the snug fit eliminates chafing and rubbing for a shoe that adapts and moves with your foot without any distraction or discomfort. An advanced lacing system offers a versatile fit, securing the midfoot for a complete lockdown that reduces in shoe slippage. Working in tandem with the advanced lacing system, the new anatomically designed skeletal tongue wraps around the foot for a snug, streamlined fit.

Newtonium Cushioned Midsole

Featuring a full foot Newtonium cushioned midsole, cushioned lugs in the forefoot and heel provide full-foot cushioned protection, attenuating shock impact where you strike down the most alleviating stress on the joints and reducing fatigue. Working in tandem with the Newtonium cushioned midsole is the action/reaction technology providing exceptional energy return. The Motion 9 shoes SHARC Outsole consists of a high abrasion and high-density rubber providing increased and enhanced floor fighting traction in both dry and wet conditions. Additional flex grooves have been added to the outsole for increased flexibility, encouraging the foot to flex naturally by mirroring the foot's motion for a smooth gait cycle.

About Newton

The tale of Newton Running originates with Brian Russell, a full-time inventor from Colorado. Russell was naturally inquisitive in addition to being a keen thinker and innovator. As he was out jogging one day, he came to think about the function and movements of the feet. At that time, there were a lot of things that occupied his head. As he ran barefoot across a grassy ground, he examined the way his feet hit the cushioned ground and the way they react to a solid surface. After years of research, he made a product that used a trampoline-like midsole on the ball of the foot, which discouraged a hard landing on the heel. He showcased his product at running events across the USA for 15 years.

After an encounter with an orthotics provider Danny Abshire, they took the footwear to landlord Jerry Lee with the goal of getting an investment. After a little persuasion, Lee saw the potential in the specially designed shoes, and Newton Running was born
