Kestrel is an ultralight minicarabiner suitable for equipping routes. Its optimized profile, calculated by Ocún developers, doesn´t lose solidity despite its very low weight. Wire gate eliminates gate flutter and does not freeze up in alpine conditions.

Featuring a wire gate, the Ocun Kestrel Minicarabiner is useful for completing ultralight quickdraws sets. Non-locking wire gate carabiners are often used in quickdraws or as runners on a route as they allow for quick transitions; they can also be used to rack gear. Designed to be lightweight the carabiner won't add much to your weight as you climb or at base camp in your pack. The ergonomic design enables easy locking with one hand only and a comfortable grip. Its shape was designed with the intention to balance weight, strength and size.
