OMM 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Green Backpack
To commemorate 50 years of the OMM race that started it all. OMM have created a pack inspired by the classic 1974 pack. Using the same fabrics, materials and design resulting from Chris Brashers 1974 challenge. The 50th pack features the 50th-anniversary badge, a classic top buckle and large dump pockets.
With a capacity of 25 litres, the backpack has plenty of room to store any essential items you may need during a typical race. This would include hydration, nutrition, maps, clothing and sleeping equipment such as a mat or a sleeping bag, which can be rolled up and stashed away. Made from an original lean weight chassis, the backpack is extremely light without sacrificing performance. Two mesh side pockets are perfect for storing water bottles which are easily accessible to keep you hydrated. A front stretch mesh pocket with compression is ideal for quick access items such as a map, compass, first aid or GPS devices without having to waste time rummaging through the backpack. A further pocket is located on the waist belt, which is zipped for items such as keys, cards and electronics
Back padding adds comfort while you are carrying the backpack and guards against friction and irritation such as chafing. The padding contains EVA which adds cushioning. A classic top buckle provides a simple, effective fastening system and keeps the backpack closed. Above the buckle is a zip flap for further secure storage. Bungee cords reduce the bulk of the backpack and ensure it does not get caught in any trees or bushes while on the trails.
Rounding off the Limited Edition OMM Backpack is the 50th Anniversary badge, which due to its limited availability will become a collector's item to OMM enthusiasts. Continuing the historical theme, the backpack is made from the original fabrics, materials and based on the same design as its predecessor, half a century ago.
