OMM KamLite Smock
Designed to focus on those moving quickly in wet conditions, the Kamlite maximises comfort for the user while protecting against the elements and minimising weight.
The KamLite Smock uses a Point ZeroH20 fabric as well as minimal taped seams in the construction to provide extreme weather protection. The fabric is ultra-lightweight, breathable and waterproof making this the perfect smock for mountain running. This ultralightweight mountain shell is also made from a 2.5 layer static fabric with a hydrostatic head of 20,000mm and a vapour transfer rate of 10,000m/24hrs. In addition, the function will always come above weight saving. The KamLite features OMM's award-winning closures and hood design to give you full protection from the elements in difficult conditions. A wired hood keeps your face and head protected as well as remaining functional, while the hood is also adjustable to ensure maximum coverage and minimal distraction.
Working alongside ZeroH20 technology is Kamleika fabric which offers four-way stretch properties to deliver a full, unrestricted range of movement in all directions. This also allows an excellent fit while the waterproof nature of the smock ensures it holds up in wet weather. As well as this, an active cut has also been used to ensure a comfortable fit that allows room for layering without being too bulky. The Active cut also features a minimal seam construction which reduces the risks of chafing and irritation. Extended cuffs have been added to provide additional coverage throughout the arms, while thumb loops prevent the sleeves from riding up the arms during high-intense running. A dynamic drop tail adds superb coverage and stops the smock riding up when on the move: as we all know how annoying that can be. A YKK Aquaguard half zip enhances weather protection further by rejecting water entry through the zip as well as providing easy layers for when you need it the most. The half zip also puts you in control of the ventilation, allowing you to get a nice airflow when the temperatures start to rise. Your safety and visibility are significantly improved thanks to reflective components, located on the sleeve and the back of the smock. The reflective material is ideal for low light conditions such as early morning or evening runs when the light is at a premium.
