The OOFOS story begins with the OOriginal Sandal. This combination of sleek design and revolutionary OOfoam recovery technology lays the groundwork for all future styles and models.
Equipped with OOfoam technology, which absorbs more shock than traditional foams, the OOriginal Sandals allow you to put your best foot forward. OOfoam absorbs 37% more impact than traditional footwear to reduce the stress on your feet, body and sole to help you recover. Don't ever worry about the cushioning reducing over time, as the durable OOfoam holds its cushioning. These sandals will take care of your feet and joints as they take a beating on hard surfaces. Slipping on OOFOS after a workout provides feet and joints with relief and a chance to recover and reduces the risk of stress on sore feet, knees and back. To ensure ultimate comfort to the wearer, the OOFOS OOriginals are equipped with a soft, conforming toe post to eliminate the risk of toe chafing. Unlike flip-flops, the OOFOS patented footbed is designed with tremendous arch support to take the pressure off the ankles, knees, hips and lower back. The sandals are also biomechanically designed to flex with both your foot and the ground as the soft, flexible OOfoam material enables your foot to articulate the way nature intended. The sandals are equipped with moisture and bacteria-resistant properties to keep them fresher for longer and are easily machine washable.
