Patagonia Down Sweater Women's Jacket
The perfect warmth for just about everything, Patagonia's classic Down Sweater is lightweight and windproof with a shell made of NetPlus 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution, and it's insulated with 800-fill-power 100% Responsible Down Standard down certified by Control Union (CU 880272). The purchase of Responsible Down Standard certified products demonstrates demand for better animal welfare practices in the down and feather supply chain.
Utilising NetPlus material, the Down Sweater Jacket by Patagonia has been created with sustainability in mind as recycled fishing nets have been used for the recycled nylon. This material is super comfortable and quick-drying, ensuring distraction-less wear when put on as well as being highly durable and abrasive to possible damage while on the move. With a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish added, rain and poor weather are effectively blocked from entering time and time again. The jacket has 800-g of Responsible Down Standard (RDS) insulation added to provide internal warmth for colder trips. For easy on-and-off, a centre-front full-length zip has been added, helping you regulate body temperature, with an interior storm flap to prevent harsh winds entering and a zipper garage at the top to protect your chin for snag-free zip-up. To retain heat within the jacket, the cuffs are elasticated to fit close to the wrists, also minimising fabric bunching up. While the hem has an integrated drawcord, stopping the wind penetrating the jacket. Finally, two on-seam handwarmer pockets with invisible zippers, one interior zippered chest pocket converts to a stuffsack with a carabiner clip-in loop.
